JetGov provides an application that streamlines the process of obtaining federal government contracts for small businesses. The core of the site is a fusion of an open source cms and an online store with a membership system that drives access to the online application Government Contract Pro. JetGov was entirely coded from scratch and I was involved in the bulk of the user interface and other website/technology decisions.

The flash slideshow used on the home page for JetGov was coded by hand in ActionScript 3 and allows for dynamically loading images via xml files. The crossfade effect is configurable via the xml attributes.

The shopping cart is a modified version of open source oscommerce to allow for membership features in checkout and products and restricted access to the core Government Contract Pro application. The shopping cart is tied into the cms as well so the two can coexist harmoniously.

Government Contract Pro is a completely custom Flex application that pulls it's slide data from the JetGov cms. It has a nice user interface and allows for items such as media elements, rich text/html, and forms to save the user's data and retrieve it later.
Government Contract Pro
Replicated an open source CMS's entire page structure and mechanism for managing slides and slide content and to keep all content both for the website and the app editable from one location. Also wrote 15 custom modules for managing the content related to the Government Contract Pro application.
